Optimists Worldwide United for the Common Good
To better our communities, world and businesses by empowering and inspiring ourselves and each other through positive thought and action.

Optimists' Tribe Highlights

  • Our mission is to inspire optimism globally by sharing our values of confidence in the human potential to overcome adversity, reach far beyond what our minds tell us is possible, embrace every life-giving moment as anopportunity to seize the full measure of what is in all of us to be, to do and to have.

In a broad and general way, I would like to see this mission take hold by first appreciating and acknowledging the potential greatness that is possible in all of us: to see ourselves as evolving beings who have a responsibility to advance in a deliberate way to essentially create a world where people are happy, thriving and living in harmony.

In terms of my personal mission and the work I do, I believe that my attitude, values and intention has an impact on the client relationship. I would like to hone my approach with my clients so that I will more fully appreciate their struggle and show them what is working well in their organization or what the individual is doing well.

I will encourage them to see the benefits of bringing more joy to the workplace and how employee engagement is tied into being open to potential and trusting that a more caring and positive approach will allow individuals to engage, self-motivate and bring about an organizational environment where people enjoy coming to work. What a concept!
